The aerator pump required maintenance, and has been corrected. Aerators are run year around to aid in decomposition of organic material, reduce algae bloom/chemicals, and prevent fish die off.
Thanks to John for the update on the status of the aerators for the pond!

Regarding the dead fish. Joey posted in his visit report that he saw several dead mature bass due to spawning stress. After the treatment there has been an additional amount of dead fish due to the chemicals. The problem we are having and will continue to have in the future is that at this time of year the fish are on their beds in the shallow water and are vulnerable to the chemicals. This should only happen at this time of year. If the pond was deeper we would not have this problem. I don’t see a fix for this.
